The raw ore had an Au grade of 5.75g/t, a true density of 2.62t/m3 and a bulk density of 1.32t/m3, with gold being the major valuable mineral.
View DetailThe raw ore was characterized by simple composition. It consisted of metallic minerals (copper pyrite and pyrite) and non-metallic minerals (quartz and chlorite). The multi-element analysis results showed that Cu was the valuable element. The Cu grade of the raw ore was 0.80%.
The Malaysia 700t/d gold mineral processing plant was a symbol of Chine-Malaysia cooperation in the mining industry under the policy of “The Belt and Road”. The raw ore consisted of pyrite, quartz, calcite and mica, with gold being the valuable mineral. It had a gold grade of 4.70g/t, silver grade of 4.63g/t, iron grade of 20.10% and a sulfur grade of 20.55%.
As the exploration got deeper, the original 300tpd silver cyanide plant was no longer able to meet the process needs. Due to the shortage of equipment maintenance and the inappropriate process, the plant capacity fell short of expectations and silver recovery dropped year by year. So the client decided to upgrade the plant. The raw ore consisted of metallic minerals (native silver, pyrite and limonite) and gangue minerals (quartz, feldspar and clay), with silver being the valuable mineral.
